Google has now updated the Pixel Sounds ringtone app to the latest version v2.0 and now it works very well, which earlier it didn’t back in July when it first arrived. And now you get a full set of premium tailored made ringtone sounds from the house of Google along with a brand new user interface which is now pretty minimalistic and has a couple of animations within the ui as well. Each sound is classified well into various categories making it easier to navigate and find the one you like the most.
This is a step up from your normal standard inbuilt set of ringtones and most users will enjoy these pleasant high quality sounds for their Android handsets, which by the way for now only support for devices with Android version 9.0; means only Android Pie 9.0 users. However, we are pretty sure some people at XDA had already taken the matter in their own hands and will soon release a version which supports all devices, that’s Android Pie 8.0 and below. It’s simple, all you need to do is just how you usually go and change the ringtone, by going into your phone’s System Settings and then Sound, so from there, the Pixel Sounds app will take up and as you browse the ringtones and notification tones, it starts getting downloaded for that moment. So, you don’t have heaps of useless tones on your storage.
