Update: Yes, someone has the Moto G Fast Video at last
Motorola has a lot of Moto G variants this year and now a new one is on the way of release and it will be called the Motorola Moto G Fast as per the Video posted by Motorola on YouTube said. Unfortunately the video is now again made private, but we were lucky enough to watch it to full length and here’re the details of the latest upcoming Moto G Fast.
As the name of the device suggests this avatar of the Moto G is more focused on speed, with it’s Qualcomm Snapdragon processor as per in the posted Promo video, Processor was named, which could also mean an old gen upper-mid-range chip could be powering the show here. Moreover, the Moto G Fast is coupled with 3GB of RAM now this was posted from Motorola’s US channel, so the RAM models there are always low.
See how it doesn’t say Moto G8 or any generation, just plain Moto G Fast!
So, expect the Moto G Fast to come with at least 4GB of RAM and could go up to 6GB to be worthy of its naming scheme. Coming towards its design the Moto G Fast had an edge-to-edge punch-hole display residing at the left side, like the edge plus flagship with full-HD+ resolution.
We didn’t found any mentions about any refresh rates which could just add another aspect of speed in the budget segment, at least a 60Hz refresh rate would be great on a budget phone from a tier 1 brand.
Furthermore, towards its camera in promo Video Motorola talks about the Moto G Fast’s not just a normal wide but an Ultra Wide vision camera paired with another Macro Vision sensor which has fast auto-focusing system. No details were pointed on camera specs. A fingerprint sensor is mounted on the back inside the Motorola batwing logo.
Apart from that the video also mentions about 2 days of battery life which suggests the fact that this Moto G Fast variant comes packed with a massive 5000mAh of battery with obviously a turbocharger of 15W to get an instant top-up within few minutes.
Lastly, this Moto G Fast will surely go up for sale within the coming weeks and this promo video which was uploaded by mistake from their side gave us a small sneak peek on Motorola’s budget intentions in the coming weeks. Prices could start anywhere from $220 to $249.
The specs and the features sound too similar to the Moto G power and could end up being maybe a re-branded version of that device? Stay tuned for more.
