OnePlus is rolling out a new OxygenOS software update for the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus5T which brings the integration of the highly awaited Google Lens and fixes an annoying camera issue. The update comes in as OxygenOS Open Beta 14 for the OnePlus 5 and the OsygenOS Open Beta 12 for the OnePlus 5T. The camera issues here was the oil paint effect which was seen in most captured images and reported back since March 2018 is not finally fixed, with this latest update.

Moreover, you now also get Google Lens integration within the camera; so, what Google lens is that it is an image recognition software and since it’s made by Google imagine the number of things it is able to recognize since Google has those huge data centers to get data from and backed by Google’s AI engine as well. The Google Lens also comes as a standalone app, but now OnePlus’s camera has it integrated that within it, it makes it far more easier to point at things and get instant details about them.

Nonetheless, this new software update of Google Lens for OnePlus is over the air and you should get it pretty soon because such updates do not appear on all devices at the same time and date, so be patient, until it arrives. Also, before you install this update you need to have at least 50% or more juice left in your battery and you can manually keep checking for this OTA update by going to your Oxygen updater app, after every alternate day.
