Lenovo has been running quite for sometime, until it showed everyone the world’s first 12GB RAM phone the Z5 GT and now seems like the Chinese giant has once again something up it’s selves. This new android smartphone is called the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition and from what’s listed on it’s Chinese website, the device is mainly geared towards people who are into a lot of content consumption.
Build with some 8 layers of nano optical process for a light noble ceramic finish which can change into peacock colors as well?
HDR10 Display on Lenovo Z6 Youth edition
The screen is a huge 6.3-inch 1080+ resolution and also supports HDR10 for greater contrasts and better color depth which is a big deal considering this feature only shows up when you shell out $500 or more. There’s also an option called true-tone which will switch it a super color balanced level which the LCD can display. Oh and you still have a water-drop style notch here.
Dolby Atmos Audio
Next we have Dolby Atoms sound enhancement on the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition, which again makes it more as a media consumption device. Rather than spec beasts, along with all those fancy display and audio features keeping the lights on is a fairly large 4050mAh capacity battery with quick charge support and should last all day.
Moreover, another thing that’s mentioned for this device is a super accurate GPS system on chip by Allystar (No to be confused by the on-board processor) which has won awards when it comes to satellite navigation systems. However, the on-board processor is not mentioned yet, but we think this could rock something like a Snapdragon 670 or similar from that tier.
Lenovo Z6 Youth edition Camera
Lenovo Z6 Youth edition also features a triple camera setup on the rear along with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The cluster probably consist of a wide-angle shooter along with a main RGB sensor and one depth sensor.
Another feature for the camera is that it is paired with AI which in assisted with an AI chip as well and can beautify the heck out of you and won’t look weird even if zoomed in up to 3 times, with no shutter lag.
Lenovo Z6 Youth edition Price
Pricing is something of a mixed bag here, on the site it say’s Mall price at 9999.00 but in what currency ? If 9999.00 Chinese Yuan translated into Indian Nation Rupee it’s around 1 Lakh, while in dollars it is around $1455 USD, which isn’t really Youth friendly at all. The reservations have already began and if you’re even slightly interested you can visit the link here.
We think this shouldn’t cost more than $399 or maybe max $499, with all the fancy display a nobody asked accurate GPS system and peacock colors from a complicated unknown process.
