New high-quality renders of the Motorola’s 2020 Flagship called the Motorola Edge+ are here and you can glaze at the device from all possible angles in all its glory by OnLeaks and pricebaba.
Motorola Edge+ Display and Design
The Motorola Edge+ features a bezel-less 6.3-inch or a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED 2K display running gloriously at 90Hz all time. As you can see this Motorola is truly going bezel-less with almost no bezels on the sides, the edges are curved and the top and bottom bezels are almost non-existing.
Along with that this time, you also get an in-display fingerprint scanner. And the AMOLED display will perform all the Moto-display trickery that we know from the Moto X days. There’s is a tiny punch-hole in the display on the left-most corner which will house the selfie camera.
And the most important thing the Motorola Edge Plus comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack which is now a dying breed, we’re glad Moto is bringing it back. The Ear-piece is also located on the top-bezel and might also act as a stereo set-up when coupled with the bottom-firing grill.
Motorola Edge+ Specs
Now coming towards the specs and this time Motorola will not disappoint you at all, they’re all going all guns blazing with the top-end silicon this year which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 which is manufactured at 7nm process meaning super efficient at the same time being a beast with its Kryo™ 585 Cores clocked at 2.84GHZ.
Moreover, in the memory department, you get 8GB to 12 Gigs of RAM which are flagship worthy numbers and that too coming from Motorola, they’re not holding back this time. On the storage side, you will get 128GB and 256GB variants, with the ability to expand further to a TB via sd-card.
Motorola Edge+ Camera and Battery
Coming towards the rear here we have a triple camera setup here coupled with Dual-LED flash and some sort of Focusing hardware as well. We believe this will also allow you to Zoom at similar to what we have seen on the latest Galaxy S20 Ultra. Not a 100x but will be close enough. Motorola might have learned something with their Moto One Zoom Pro.
Furthermore, you have triple noise cancellation microphones for Motorola’s famous crystal talk technology. And yes this will have a whole host of new features from 5G, to new AI tricks to enhance the Moto-experience what’s already been a benchmark in the industry.
The only thing Motorola has to take care of is speedy updates, not reliable but delivery it quick to get their name up with OnePlus and Samsung in this battle of flagships. We believe this will surely have that one min-blowing feature like what we have seen on the Moto X talking in the air the phone listening even when’s off without taking a huge hit on the battery.
Speaking about battery it’s been tipped that this will pass the 4500mAh mark and will be somewhere around 5000mAh as this being 11.4mm thick. For the pricing as this is a flagship, we believe this won’t be priced similar to the Razr 2020 but will be offered in the range of $899 and $999. In the states, Verizon will exclusively carry it for some period before unlock variants start hitting stores.
