Motorola Moto G6 Plus is getting a brand new update and it is over the air now, and this new one brings the latest June 1st Security patch update. However, its already July but it’s nice to see Motorola delivering new security updates for its budget phones as the American tech giant had a tough time updating its budget phones to Android Oreo. But looks like with these year’s new line-up things could improve. This new June 1st Security update for the Moto G6 Plus was first spotted rolling out in Italy and would soon reach other parts of Europe in the coming days.
The latest June security patch fixes a wide array of vulnerabilities such as remote code execution by intruders, privilege elevation, denial of service fixes and some more. So, it is a good idea to download such security updates to the earnest before your device gets infected with such an exploit which might leak your sensitive data. Also, make sure before installing an Android update you need to check whether your handset has 50% or more battery remaining or not. And it is always recommended to download such updates via Wi-Fi rather than Mobile data to avoid any extra charges imposed by your carrier if you pass the download limit.
Nonetheless, you also need to know that this update will cover the globe slowly in phases covering one region at a time so be patient till it reaches your region and then you can grab it and install the June security patch. If Motorola continues to roll out updates more frequently, it could easily get back its fast updating OEM status back.
