Starting with the Specs the Motorola Moto Z4 is powered by a powerful Snapdragon 675 chipset which is an Octa-Core soc featuring the generation 2x Kryo 460 based on Cortex A76 clocked at 2.0GHz, while the six 1.7GHz cores 6x Kryo 460 based on Cortex A55. THe graphics are handle by the Adreno 612 clocked at 790MHz+, it is manufactured at 11nm LPP which is more than enough efficient.

Noe if you check out the video below, the guy who received the Moto Z4 in his mailbox, which was shipped via Amazon, which is where the device was first spotted by eagle eye redditers, also mentions that when he checked out the screen protectors for the device, it also mentioned Moto Z4 play and a Moto Z4 Force, which means these devices do exists and a Flagship Moto Z4 Force could also drop sometime from now sporting the ultra powerful Snapdragon 855 chip and Motorola’s Shatter shield technology which promises your screen won’t break at all.

But for now, the Moto Z4 is here with 128GB storage option and is geared with 4GB of RAM, we also expect it to be available in 6GB flavor as well. Plus it has speaker grills at the top as well as on the front above the front selfie cam which is housed within a small semi-circle notch, which in this iteration is less noticeable.
We bet the Moto Z4 Force will be offered with at least 6GB and 8GB RAM models. Sd-card support is also here, which is a good thing to have.
Motorola Moto Z4 Benchmarks
Talking about the design the Motorola Moto Z4 has pretty slim bezels, with a respectable screen to body ratio of 86%+, and yes there’s a small chin as well, but nowhere near to the previous Moto Zs. Screen-quality is also reported to be superior on the Moto Z4, display measures at 6.23-inches.
Moto-Mods are still here and all generation Moto-Mods will work here. Plus you also get the 360 Moto-Mod or a battery mod within a package as a freebie, but maybe this is available as a promo offer for few units, let’s see about that later, but’s there now.
Now, on the camera front, there’s a single 48 megapixel shooter with Motorola’s Quad Pixel magic which actually works and we have seen it’s metal on the Motorola One Vision and it’s Night mode, which could easily wipe the floor with the Pixel 3a. And we hope this to do the same or even better with that beefy processor.
Build quality of the Moto Z4 is also top-notch as expected as it is from a Flagship family after-all. Battery is also fairly decent at 3600mAh and will offer full day of usage on a single charge, what I feel is not cool is that fact that, it comes with just a 15W turbo charge, while the Motorola One Vision comes with a 18W, however we hope this will also support a 25W Turbo Charger.
Now coming towards the benchmarks the Moto Z4 scored 170k while the Moto Z2 Force blows everyone away with 2.5k and the first gen Moto Z at 1.5k, but surprisingly in CPU benchmark the Moto Z4 is ahead among it’s ancestors (i.e the Snapdragon 835 powered Z2 force and SD 820 Moto Z), which proves that Snapdragon 675 is more than enough and will is more than enough to get the job done.

However, it falls short on the GPU side of things, where the Z2 forces crushes it and goes ahead, but no matter what the Adreno 612 is no slouch and can also get the job done. The CPU and GPU tech in today’s era is far ahead than what we had before 2016 so no worries on this part.
Moto Z4 Unboxing and First impressions Video
The Motorola Moto Z4 is priced at $499 on amazon but with a valid gift card, you can get it for $449, which will be it’s new price after a week or so. The device shall launch further with it’s siblings Z4 Play and the Moto Z4 force as mentioned in t his video, because the screen protectors for the two models were present and now taken down.
