Motorola is currently pushing out a new update for its newly released Moto G6 Play the base variant of the Moto G6 family and this latest update brings the June 1st Android Security Update. The firmware version number for this latest security patch update on the Moto G6 Play is OPP27.91-87. And as per the changelog, you get the usual Stability improvements and a couple of bugfixes at the mainframe code level here and there.

Moreover, you can also expect the more premium Moto G6 to get a similar treatment in this region as the Moto G6 Plus is already receiving the same update in Europe, while in the US the Moto Z2 Force gets the same update as well and it is also expected to reach to the Indian shores pretty soon. But for now, the Moto G6 Play is getting it.
