Tata motor’s Hyndia Creta rival which was showcased at the Auto-Expo 2017 which was known as H5X SUV. Which now is now named as Harrier, gets spied on and some rear shots, as well as photos of the SUV’s rear drum brakes, are now out. As you can see the rear of the new Tata harrier SUV is quite bulky which means a mega storage area, as well as we also speculate a power tailgate and as this will be posited as a premium offering from Tata, a remote tailgate opening and closing could also happen. Also, then there’s almost no loading lip at all and it’s also happens to be quite low which is a great news if you plan to go on a trip with loads of luggage.
New Tata harrier SUV: Details known so far
Now coming towards that rear wheel, which as per seen in this image taken by Aman Siriah and his mate Nikhil Khadse at Pune where Tata is supposedly testing it accompanied by its high-end design studios from the UK and Italy as well; has a drum brake which tells that the model being spied on is a base variant and the top trim will have disc brakes on all four variants.
So, a huge cargo area is here on the Tata Harrier (H5X SUV)
Apart from that, the rear tail-lights used here are just to get the job done, while the real words production variant will have those sleeker LED’s on the rear and also on the front flushing with Tata’s humanity line which was revealed in renders shown below. You can also get an idea of its road presence and by the way it looks here we can say that Creta could look a little puny next to the Harrier, but only time will tell how true that it.
The Harrier (H5X SUV) is based on Tata’s OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advance) monocoque platform which their new platform and will also follow the new Impact design 2.0 scheme, which is quite futuristic. However, we hope this doesn’t get’s over the top, making it look funky and not mature like say the Germans. Maruti Suzuki played a nostalgic by bringing back the Baleno name and Tata should also try to do something similar and instead of using the Harrier name, they could use Sierra which was one of the best well-known SUVs back in late 2000’s
