The next-generation Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 which will be launched next year early Q2 will improve upon its predecessor and as per this new design patents from Lets Go Digital, there are some dramatic new changes on the front facial of the Galaxy Fold 2 is now deemed to have a Vertical notch of course near the side bezels, instead of the traditional top bearing notch.
This new design patents showcases how a vertical notches Galaxy Fold 2 will look like when it comes out, you can see the line diagrams as well as some really nice looking renders of the Galaxy Fold 2. With the notch mounted at a new position the top of this hybrid phone-cum-tablet now looks much cleaner and more digestible. Much better than the google chrome tab like notch.
However, when it comes to taking front camera photos or Video calling with it, one can imagine how that will look like, maybe viewer receiving your feed could make out your slightly right-shifted eye when you look at the front array of cameras.
Other than that, earlier it was also reported that the Galaxy Fold 2 would sport a teardrop notch, making it more manageable on the viewer’s eye, but the side notch also doesn’t look that bad.

The Galaxy Fold 2 will have an improved folding mechanism and a much stronger display to withstand at least 1 million folds, which the current one just can’t and will break after a certain number of folds probably the last read was under a 200k times.
